Official Contest Rules

These Official Contest Rules are temporary placeholder rules for Onsemble contests and challenges while final legal copy is being prepared. By entering an Onsemble contest, you agree to follow these rules, the Onsemble Terms of Service, the Onsemble Privacy Policy, and any additional instructions shown in the app or on the contest details page.

No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is necessary to enter or win a contest unless otherwise stated in the specific contest details. A purchase, subscription, paid feature, or premium account does not increase your chances of winning.

Eligibility

Contests are open only to registered Onsemble users who are legally permitted to participate under the laws of their location. Entrants must be at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Employees, contractors, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Onsemble, as well as their immediate family members or household members, may be ineligible to win prizes unless expressly allowed by the contest details.

How to Enter

To enter, you must create and submit an eligible Onsemble entry through the Onsemble app before the contest deadline. Entries must be created in the app using the contest entry flow. Entries submitted outside the app, submitted after the deadline, submitted through an incorrect contest page, or otherwise not received by Onsemble may be disqualified.

Entry Requirements

• Your entry must be your own original contribution or must include only content you have the legal right to use.
• Your entry must comply with Onsemble community guidelines and must not include unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, explicit, misleading, or infringing content.
• Your entry must not violate any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights.
• Your entry must not contain viruses, malicious code, automated submissions, or attempts to interfere with the contest or the Onsemble service.
• Your entry may be reviewed, moderated, removed, or hidden if Onsemble determines that it may violate these rules or the Onsemble Terms of Service.

Submission License

You retain ownership of content you create and submit. By entering a contest, you grant Onsemble a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, distribute, promote, and otherwise use your entry, username, profile information, likeness, and related materials in connection with operating, judging, promoting, and announcing the contest and the Onsemble service.

Judging and Winner Selection

Winners may be selected by Onsemble, by designated judges, by community engagement, by a random drawing, or by another method described in the specific contest details. Judging criteria may include creativity, musicality, performance, originality, technical quality, adherence to the contest prompt, audience response, and overall fit with the contest theme. Onsemble reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding eligibility, judging, winner selection, and prize awards.

Prizes

Prizes, if any, will be described in the contest details. Prize values are estimates and may vary. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash unless required by law or expressly stated by Onsemble. Onsemble may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a listed prize becomes unavailable. Winners are responsible for any taxes, fees, reporting obligations, or costs associated with accepting or using a prize.

Winner Notification

Potential winners may be notified through the Onsemble app, email, or another contact method associated with their account. A potential winner may be required to confirm eligibility, provide additional information, sign an affidavit or release, or complete other documentation before receiving a prize. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond in time, is found ineligible, or does not complete required documentation, Onsemble may select an alternate winner.

Moderation and Disqualification

Onsemble may reject, remove, or disqualify any entry or entrant at any time if Onsemble believes, in its sole discretion, that the entry or entrant violates these rules, violates the Terms of Service, infringes another party's rights, manipulates the contest, behaves unfairly, or harms the integrity or reputation of the contest or Onsemble.

Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, entering a contest or accepting a prize gives Onsemble permission to use your name, username, profile image, likeness, voice, biographical information, entry, and prize information for promotional, marketing, and administrative purposes without additional compensation.

Technical Issues

Onsemble is not responsible for late, lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, inaccessible, or failed entries caused by technical problems, network issues, app errors, device issues, moderation delays, platform outages, or other events outside Onsemble's reasonable control. Onsemble may modify, suspend, or cancel a contest if fraud, technical failures, legal issues, or other causes impair the integrity or proper operation of the contest.

Release and Limitation of Liability

By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Onsemble and its owners, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, and representatives from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your participation, your entry, your acceptance or use of any prize, or any violation of these rules. Nothing in these rules limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.

Privacy

Information collected in connection with a contest may be used to administer the contest, verify eligibility, contact entrants, award prizes, comply with legal requirements, and operate Onsemble. Please review the Onsemble Privacy Policy for more information.

General Conditions

Onsemble reserves the right to interpret these rules, resolve disputes, correct errors, update contest details, and make final decisions regarding the contest. If any part of these rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining portions will continue to apply.
